Unsere Alpakas stammen aus den peruanischen Anden und werden ebenfalls von kleineren Bauern bezogen, deren Lebensgrundlage ihre Tiere sind. Die Fabrik arbeitet eng mit den Alpakazüchtern zusammen, um die Zuchtprogramme zu verbessern und ihnen zu helfen, die besten Alpakas der Welt zu produzieren. Die Sortierung dieser Alpakas ist ganz außergewöhnlich: Die Fasern werden von hochqualifizierten Frauen nach Mikron und Farbe sortiert - es ist faszinierend, das zu beobachten.

We work hard with our suppliers to ensure that the fibres are sourced from the best possible places where animals and workers are treated well, this is really important to us. Jeni will be happy to explain the processes or give you a balanced opinion if you are unsure which fibres to choose.
