Canceling a Contract

A. Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Consumers are entitled to a right of cancellation in accordance with the following provisions. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession:

Right of Cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the last good. To exercise your right of cancellation, you can use the "Cancel Contract" button located at the bottom right or in the footer menu, or send us an email at shop@woolandforest.de with a clear statement of your decision to cancel this contract. Please provide your order number, the items being canceled, and your name. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Consequences of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

 

Exclusion or Premature Expiry of the Right of Cancellation

The right of cancellation does not apply to consumers who are not nationals of a member state of the European Union at the time of concluding the contract and whose sole place of residence and delivery address are outside the European Union at the time of concluding the contract.

General Notes

1. Please avoid damaging or contaminating the goods. Please return the goods to us in the original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage using suitable packaging.

2. Please do not return the goods to us "freight collect" (unfrei).

3. Please note that the aforementioned points 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of cancellation.

B. Cancellation Form

To exercise your right of cancellation, you can use the "Cancel Contract" button located at the bottom right or in the footer menu, or send us an email at shop@woolandforest.de with a clear statement of your decision to cancel this contract. Please provide your order number, the items being canceled, and your name. Alternatively, you can cancel the contract and return the items within the 14-day return period by sending an email stating the order number, the items being canceled, and your name.
